Opening Ceremony: The Opening Ceremony will take place on February 12th, 2010 at the BC Place Stadium. This Ceremony is one of the most important events of the Games...through live satellite broadcasts, people around the world will focus on this stage as the Olympic flag which Vancouver received from Torino is passed and the flame which expresses our hopes for peace and friendship is, lit in the cauldron. The Opening Ceremony will consist of a ceremonial program and an artistic program, and will last approximately two -three hours.

Closing Ceremony: The Closing Ceremony will take place on February 28th, 2010 in the same stadium where the Opening Ceremony was held. This Ceremony will be in the new chapter of Olympic Games, in the 21st Century and the program will be such that it gives great expectations to children, who will be the leaders of the next generations. The Ceremony will consist of a ceremonial program and an artistic program.
