Summer Games Event Schedule

Over 18,000 of the world's best athletes will convene in London to compete in 26 different sports. More than 2 billion people will be watching around the world, but you can witness the most prominent international sports celebration in person with Great Atlantic Travel.

London Long Jump
The majority of venues have been divided into three zones within Greater London: the Olympic Zone, the River Zone and the Central Zone. In addition to these are those venues that, by necessity, are outside the boundaries of Greater London, such as the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy on the Isle of Portland in Dorset, 235 km southwest of the Olympic Park, Tring in Hertfordshire (which will host the start of the 50 km walk) and other stadia across the UK. The Ricoh Arena in Coventry, some 170 km northwest of the Olympic Park, will host footballing events.
