The Kentucky Oaks Race is held at Churchill Downs in Louisville,
KY. Known as "Our Derby" to the Locals of Louisville, the Grade I
stakes race for three year old Thoroughbred fillies does not
actually begin until later in the day. Churchill Downs Gates
typically open around 9:00am.
