The Champions Room at Churchill Downs The Champions Room at Churchill Downs is a Gambler's Paradise with food, tons of TV's, premium drink and a 2nd Floor view of the Paddock Area to view the horses The Champions room is located on the 2nd floor clubhouse of Churchill Downs at the top of the main elevators from Gate 17. This room is an indoor room which overlooks the Paddock area, but has no view of the track. The Champions room offers a full buffet and full bar on Kentucky Derby and Oaks race day, as well as waiter service. The tables in the Champions room are 4-seat tables and this room is the only exclusive Smoking Area indoors at Churchill Downs. Like the Silks room, the Champions room resembles a typical American sports bar with more TV's than a Circuit City warehouse.
